At Malcolm-X we boast small class sizes with a strong school community and many engaging opportunities for our students. Our science classes incorporate hands-on activities; our social studies curriculum is broadened with field trips throughout the Bay Area; and our 4th and 5th graders participate in outdoor education activities culminating in an overnight camping trip in the Marin Headlands. Malcolm X Academy offers an exciting Extended Day Program from 3:00 until 6:00 Monday through Friday, there us no Fee. Students get homework help, academic enrichment class, as well as a chance to participate in Polynesian Dance class, Drill team, Team sports, and computer lab. We are proud of partnership with the YMCA Urban Services in this exciting academic enrichment program.
