Located in the heart of San Francisco, McKinley Elementary School is just a few blocks off Market Street, at 1025 14th Street at Castro. Built in 1908, it is named after William McKinley, the 25th President of the United States (1897-1901). The original building faced Castro Street. The current building opened in 1978 as an attractive modern school.
