Thomas Starr King is a school on the rise! Located in the southeastern part of the city, Starr King is a Reading First school using the newly adopted Houghton Mifflin/Lectura program. Struggling readers are given fluency practice in the Read Naturally Lab so that children can devote more time to build meaning from their reading.
