The month between September 15 and October 15 celebrates Latino Heritage in The US. Flynn celebrated the month by having students decorate the doors of their classrooms with a tribute to an important Latino who has made important achievements to this country and the world. The made tribute to artists, writers, athletes, politicians and activists. At the end of the month all students had an opportunity to make tour of the school and learn about these important individuals.
