DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Student Support Services Department of the San Francisco Unified School District promotes proactive, behavioral and curricula interventions that create an environment which maximize the academic potential for all students. Student Support Services assists school sites to develop an atmosphere in which students realize their behavioral potential, stay in school, and cooperate with others to experience academic success. Working in coordination with District departments, sites, staff, parents, community providers, and students, Student Support Services enhances and adjusts behavioral and academic approaches to meet the challenges of a continually changing population of children.
