For the Eighth Consecutive Year, SFUSD STAR Test Scores Rise Results for African American and Latinos Quadruple in Growth

SFUSD improved on the California Standards Test (CST) for the eighth consecutive year in 2009. Two out of three second through seventh grade students are now proficient or advanced in Math.

SFUSD remains the highest performing large urban district in California and the district’s average is higher than the state’s average.
