I.      What is Profit Sharing?

Profit Sharing is a food sales program designed to help students raise money for clubs and school activities. During the lunch period students will sell approved food items, 30% of the total sales will go to the students

II.      What will Student Nutrition Services (SNS) Provide?

SNS will provide the following:

      All Food and Supplies Daily

      Paperwork for Sales Accountability

      Change Box Containing $25.00

III.      What kind of Food can you Sell?

An approved list of items from an authorized vendor will be provided to the school.  A maximum of 3 items can be profit shared at any given time

IV.      Where can you Sell?

A location will be determined by the Site Administrator in collaboration with SNS. The Profit-Share locations will be separate from the existing SNS concessions

V.      How much Money can you really make?

Example:

Students sold $100 worth of Food Items

$100 x 30% = $30

Total Money Earned for the Students = $30.00

Using the Profit Sharing Model, Balboa high school generated $680 in their first month and Mission generated $980 in their second month
