Every student in SFUSD will receive comprehensive sequential arts
education from pre-K through grade twelve.
The San Francisco Board of Education will approve the Arts Education
Master Plan and make it District policy.
Principals and teachers in particular will be familiar with and
implement the curriculum and best practices for arts integration
into the core curriculum, as well as whole school arts programming.
A wide range of individuals and groups from within and outside
the District will participate in the development in the plan
The impact of the Master Plan will be observable in every school
and classroom in the District.
The Plan will include a detailed budget for the use of Proposition
H arts and music designated funds.
The Plan will provide a strategy for securing additional arts
education funding
Quality arts education for every student in every school every day
