Bryant Child Development Center has a PreKindergarten program for children ages 3-5 and a Before and After School program for children from grades Kindergarten through Fourth. The center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. The program’s focus is on Literacy and Math. The PreKindergarten program provides children with many and varied developmentally appropriate and educational activities and prepares them for a smooth transition to Kindergarten. “BUILDING A COMMON LANGUAGE” - PARENT ACTION GRANT

Bryant CDC is receiving a Parent Action grant this year. The grant proposal is entitled “Building a Common Language” by providing our parents with the opportunity to learn basic English and to share their cultures through cooking. Our goal is for our parents to be able to communicate with each other, to share recipes, and to have fun. Our project will begin in November, 2002 and culminate in the Spring with a “Celebration in the Park” where parents will each say a few words in English and receive a certificate of accomplishment.
